2009 Year-end Summary of Volunteer Value
As is our tradition, I am submitting our 2009 Year-end
Report of West Hollywood Station Volunteer activities. Of
note, our Volunteer census remains steady at 37 members, and
I’m pleased to report that our scope of responsibility
continues to expand.
In 2009, we maintained the high level of customer service
standards expected of our program and took on new
challenges. Our Volunteers on Patrol team worked the
Proposition 8 protests, assisted residents impacted by the
Station Fire, provided traffic control at the Sunset Music
Festival and supported the West Hollywood Mug Run. Inside
the station, more Volunteers work as Jailer’s Aides and we
now have a Volunteer helping with the Youth Athletic
League.
Congratulations and Thank You to all involved; we look
forward to another great year.
